Black Pure Blues

Black Pure Blues appears to be the genre of the Blues patriarchs, where the performer rarely goes beyond the traditional Blues Square; although, there are some exceptions! And the vocals are perfect! Iconic figures of the Black Pure Blues include Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Freddy King, Albert King, Howlin’ Wolf, Melvin Taylor, Pinetop Perkins, Luther Allison, Lonny Brooks, James Cotton, Otis Rush, Johnny Copeland, Magic Slim and many, many others…
